Dr. David Campbell opened St. Laurent Dental Centre in 1985 and still treats patients there; the general dentists around him have worked side by side for more than twenty-five years. That continuity is the point — charts reaching back decades, families arriving in a second and third generation, a team that already knows how a nervous patient wants to be handled.

Services

Preventive hygiene and children’s dentistry; restorative work from fillings, crowns and bridges through root canal treatment, TMJ therapy and dentures; whitening and veneers; oral surgery and implants; periodontal treatment; therapeutic Botox. Orthodontics runs both ways, Invisalign aligners and conventional braces, opening with a short online smile assessment. Same-day and emergency appointments and support for anxious patients are routine.

Technology

Digital X-rays replace film and travel straight to a specialist. Panoramic images capture the whole jaw, the temporomandibular joints and the sinuses in one exposure; cephalometric views help plan for impacted teeth and airway problems. The iTero 3D scanner records the bite digitally and drives Invisalign production, and scans go up on the treatment-room monitor.

Dentists and specialists

Dr. Campbell qualified at McGill in 1978. Dr. Atul Joshi, McGill 1993, takes complex cosmetic and restorative cases and is certified in Invisalign and therapeutic Botox. Dr. Jo-Anne Matheson, a former Dental Captain in the Canadian Forces, is certified in laser dentistry and runs both aligners and braces; hers is the name parents mention after a child’s broken front tooth. Dr. Roy Hudson and Dr. Brandon Hersh, the latter trained further at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, complete the general team. Periodontist Dr. Mais Sweidan trained at the University of North Carolina, holds a Master of Public Health and is board-certified; denturist Majid Ahangaran builds and fits dentures on site. The clinic works in English and French.
