Ottawa boasts an impressive number of public libraries, each offering a vast selection of resources to suit everyone’s taste. I Ottawa presents a selection of the city’s best public libraries, which might just become your next favourite spot for relaxation and enrichment.

Main Library

Nicknamed the “Main” library, this branch is located in the heart of Ottawa. Residents can borrow books for home use or enjoy reading onsite. Conveniently, books can be returned 24/7 via the Main’s Book Drop. Visitors also have access to educational talks and personalized lessons from library staff.

Renovated in 2014, the expanded spaces now provide improved reading areas for both children and adults. Updates included:

Located in a shopping centre, its accessibility and collection make it a popular choice. Operating hours are:

Nepean Centrepointe Library
